Mission

As an Internal Communication & Events Officer, you will join our Marketing team, reporting directly to the Brand & Performance Manager

Your primary mission is to translate DKV's global strategy into concrete, impactful, and human-centric internal communication plans and initiatives.

In concerns a temporary mission of at least 6 months.

What the Key Tasks Look Like

  • Project management & coordination: You act as the central point of contact for various departments (Human Resources, Management, Operations, etc.). You identify and prioritize their communication needs and turn them into coherent communication initiatives.
  • Operational execution & copywriting: You design, write, and distribute all internal content. You manage the editorial calendar by updating our internal channels (newsletter, intranet, information screens) daily, while ensuring full alignment with DKV's brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Proactivity & creativity: You propose innovative concepts and modern formats (videos, visuals, animations) to capture employees' attention and engagement.
  • Event organization: You manage our internal events from A to Z (collaborating with external partners when applicable), including themed internal networking events, town halls, staff parties, volunteering days, and more.
  • Budget tracking & KPIs: You rigorously manage the budget allocated to internal actions and events. Driven by a results-oriented mindset, you analyze the performance of your initiatives and adjust the approach whenever necessary.

Required Skills and Competences

  • Education & Experience: You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferably in communication, journalism, or languages) or equivalent by experience, and have a proven track record of at least 5 years in a similar corporate communication, internal and stakeholder communication, or event management role.
  • Operational "all-rounder" profile: You possess strong copywriting and editing skills, a sharp sense of synthesis, you have an eye for detail and a perfect command of digital communication tools. You enjoy strategic planning just as much as "getting your hands dirty" during execution.
  • Language skills: You are fully fluent in French or Dutch, with an excellent command of the other language and English. You are able to adapt messages with the cultural sensitivity unique to each linguistic community in Belgium (bringing that authentic local touch).
  • Interpersonal skills: Autonomous and proactive, you are recognized for your "internal client" orientation and your ability to interact effectively and mature across all levels of the organization. Your agility allows you to smoothly manage the deadlines tied to live events.
