What the Key Tasks Look Like

  • Governance & Policy: Develop and maintain security policies and ensure alignment with Belgian, European, and ERGO Group standards.
  • Training & Awareness: Design and deliver security awareness programs and promote a security-conscious culture.
  • Risk & Compliance: Conduct risk assessments, support vulnerability management, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal standards.
  • Incident Management: Oversee the incident response framework and coordinate responses to security breaches.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track the effectiveness of security controls and report on risks, incidents, and emerging threats to senior management.
  • Business Continuity: Contribute to the development and testing of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans, integrating security considerations.

  • Solid knowledge of ISO/IEC 2700x standards, DORA, GDPR, and data protection principles.
  • Experience conducting internal ISO audits and supporting audit readiness.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French, both written and spoken.

Personal Skills

  • Strong independent worker with a collaborative mindset.
  • Skilled in building cross-functional relationships and navigating sensitive situations with diplomacy.
  • Client- and result-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven.
